This app uses your Personal Data – that means that it uses and stores information about you.
What is a Privacy Notice?
A Privacy Notice explains how Fidjit uses your personal data. Personal data is information which is about you.
What information do we use?
We use the following information:
Your personal details: this is your name and your email address.
Your parents details: this is their name and their email address.
Your school details: this is your school name, your teacher’s name and their email address.
Your user data: we will also store data about how you use the app this means that when you do an activity what you do and how you interact will be stored.
We do not store or collect any information about your data of birth or the school year that you are in.
Why do we use this information?
We use your personal data to set you up an account on the app and to identify you using your personal information.
When you log in to the app each time you will use your log in details and this will store your personal development journey.
When you do an activity your results will be stored by the app and this information will be used to show how you have grown and developed.
Where do we collect your information from?
We may collect this information from you, from your parents and from your school.
All the data that we collect will be stored on the app only and we will not store your personal data in nay other way.
We will not collect your personal data unless you, your parent or your teacher put this into the app.
How will we use your information?
We will use your data to set you up an account on the app so that you can log in each time.
The app will make a ‘student report’ which is all about you and how you use the app and this will be send to your parents and your teacher.
This will show how you have grown and developed and will be all about you.
Your parents and your teachers can then use the student report with you to support your learning journey.
Who will we share the information with?
Your personal information will only be shared with your parents and your teachers.
We do use other companies (called data processors) who store information for us. This is to allow our service to work and so that all your data can be stored and used. We make sure that these data processors are safe and secure and they will not use your personal information for themselves, they only use it how we tell them to.
How long do we keep your information for?
We keep your data for all the time that you are using the app. Once you stop using the app we will hold your personal data for a further 12 months.
If you start using the app again in that 12 months then all your data will still be there. If you use it again after 12 months then this will be deleted and you will just need to set up a new account.
If you want to have your data deleted whilst you are using the service or after you have stopped using it then you just need to ask your parent to email d.starkey@fidjit.co.uk.
What if my information is wrong?
You can ask us to correct any information that we hold about you. You just need to ask your parent to email d.starkey@fidjit.co.uk and we will make any necessary changes.
Can you have a copy of your personal data?
Of course. You can ask us for a copy of your personal data at any time. You just need to ask your parent to parent to email d.starkey@fidjit.co.uk and we will let them know the next steps.
How do we keep your information safe?
Your information is kept safe in our secure IT systems. Your account is secured by an encrypted code which means that only you and Fidjit can access the account.
